Never before seen in Mexico, West Coast Customs México presents a live vehicle customization at the July event

PAACE Automechanika Mexico continues to be the largest and most significant automotive industry event in Mexico this year

The eleventh edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico, the most important international trade show for the automotive aftermarket in Mexico and Central America, is pleased to announce the participation of West Coast Customs México, July 15 – 17, at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, Mexico.  With the support of the most important industry associations APRA, MEMA, SEMA and INA, as well as this new and exciting show feature, PAACE Automechanika Mexico continues to be Mexico’s largest and most significant automotive industry event in 2009.

West Coast Customs is an automotive workshop specializing in customization of vehicles, known for their successful television program aired on MTV, “Pimp My Ride”.  For the first time ever in Mexico, West Coast Customs México will participate in PAACE Automechanika Mexico and feature a live customization of a vehicle from start to finish.  Their mini-workshop display will include painting, interiors, audio and video, suspension (tires / rims) and soldering.  In addition to the live customization, West Coast Customs México will be recording a live episode of their new television show at PAACE Automechanika Mexico, “Tunéame la Nave”, to be aired in Mexico beginning on August 14, 2009.  PAACE Automechanika Mexico is also pleased to welcome the founder and creator of West Coast Customs from Corona, California, Ryan Friedlinghaus.

According to SEMA, the size of the Specialty Market in Mexico is $2.5 billion US dollars a year, and the market has been growing at a rate of 8% in the last 5 years.  As the market in Mexico for the personalization of vehicles continues to grow, PAACE Automechanika Mexico serves as a platform to support this important segment of the aftermarket.  Never before seen in Mexico, the West Coast Customs México presentation will be just one feature at PAACE Automechanika Mexico serving this market segment and is expected to be a highlight for event buyers and participants.

To complement West Coast Customs México’s dramatic customization presentation, PAACE Automechanika Mexico will feature more than 80 modified vehicles in the highly anticipated tuning section on the show floor.  With the support of Dagaso Editorial, Racing Emotion Circuit, and several exhibiting companies, the tuning section at PAACE Automechanika Mexico will feature euro, import and street and professional tuning styles, an array of muscle cars and vehicles accessorized with exhibitor products.

PAACE Automechanika Mexico continues to be the largest and most important automotive industry event in Mexico this year.  Hundreds of leading manufacturers from around the world will showcase the latest advancements in the automotive aftermarket this July.  Among those companies are a host of international manufacturers in the following categories: Parts & Systems, Accessories & Tuning, Repair & Maintenance, IT & Management and Service Station & Car Wash.  To date, exhibitors from 13 countries will be represented on the show floor including Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan and the USA.
