The 13th edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico, Mexico and Central America’s most important international trade show for the automotive aftermarket, will return to the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, Mexico, July 13 – 15, 2011.  Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and show partners APRA, MEMA and SEMA are pleased with the amount of support and committment they are receiving from exhibiting companies for the 2011 event.  In addition to the various U.S. companies participating through their local branch or Mexican representative, more than 50 U.S. based companies have already contracted directly in the event this July making PAACE Automechanika Mexico a leading international platform for U.S. based automotive aftermarket manufacturers.  Key participating U.S. companies include Aisin World Corp. of America, American Axle & Manufacturing, CARDONE Industries Inc., Dash4 Brakes, Daytona Rubber Company, EMPI, Inc., Hockman-Lewis Limited, Lubegard, Inc., Lucas Oil Products, Procomp / Smittybilt / Transamerican Auto Parts, Sonnax, Vision Wheel, Walker Products, Inc. and many more.

“We have had countless U.S. based companies experience success in the Mexican market through business developed at PAACE Automechanika Mexico,” states Kristen Woodburn, group show director for Messe Frankfurt, Inc., “and we want to continue to educate U.S. manufacturers on the value and growth opportunities available in Mexico’s automotive industry.”  According to the U.S. Commercial Service, Mexico ranks as the world’s 10th top automotive producer and third in the Americas after the United States and Brazil.  Mexico’s Center for Statistical Research quotes Mexico’s vehicle circulation at 30,904,659 vehicles and the value of the automotive aftermarket at $95,163,800,000 USD, representing 36% of Mexico’s total automotive industry.  There is high demand for the following automotive parts in Mexico: interior and exterior accessories, oil and lubricants, maintenance chemicals, electric parts, clutch and transmission parts, engine parts, gasoline engines, carpet and seats, suspension parts, brakes, cooling systems, batteries, motor parts, tires and wheels and many more.

As exhibitor interest continues to grow for PAACE Automechanika Mexico 2011, the show team continues to focus on delivering the most quality buyers and networking opportunities for its exhibitors.  PAACE Automechanika Mexico will be working with key organizations in 2011 to recruit delegations of the largest volume buyers across the country.  The U.S. Commercial Service has already committed to recruiting delegations of key buyers from several of their offices across the country including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana.  Negotiations with other organizations are being formed to recruit buyers from Central and South America and other areas of Mexico.  Leandro Solorzano, international trade specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service states, "Mexico represents a great market for American companies, especially those who are new to exporting or have never exported. The benefits the automotive sector receives through NAFTA are great and give U.S. companies a competitive advantage that is not present in other markets. Our goal this year is to work closely with those companies who are new to Mexico to educate them about the opportunities and connect them to the buyers our regional offices will be recruiting."

PAACE Automechanika Mexico experienced its largest show to date in 2010 with 647 exhibitors and 12,154 buyers in attendance at the event.  Industry leader Expo Magazine gave its number one spot for the Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows in 2010 to PAACE Automechanika Mexico.  Trade Show Executive also named the event the fastest-growing show in Latin America in 2010Based on feedback from the industry, visitor promotion and exhibitor commitments, PAACE Automechanika Mexico expects another record show this July and yet another year as the leading automotive aftermarket trade show platform in Mexico and Central America.
