PAACE Automechanika Mexico announces New Product Showcase Display

The Automotive Service Association provides details on complimentary seminars offered this July

Record show expected this July with more than 430 exhibitors from 14 countries already confirmed

The 12th edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico, Mexico and Central America’s most important international trade show for the automotive aftermarket, will return to the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, Mexico, July 14 – 16, 2010.  In response to industry demand, Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and show partners APRA, MEMA and SEMA are pleased to announce a new addition to the event this July.  PAACE Automechanika Mexico 2010 will feature a New Product Showcase, a display of the latest products released over the past year from exhibiting companies.  In a recent survey of PAACE Automechanika Mexico top buyers, 73% of attendees rated new products as the most important feature of the show.  Located in one convenient location, the New Product Showcase display will help facilitate a more efficient search of new products and services onsite.  The products on display will also be available in advance on the PAACE Automechanika Mexico website so that attendees can plan their visits to exhibiting companies in advance to learn more about the latest featured products in the industry.

“It is a proven fact that one of the primary reasons attendees go to trade shows is to find new products,” states Kristen Woodburn, group show director for Messe Frankfurt, Inc., “By offering a focused display of our exhibitors’ new products and services online before the show and onsite during the show, we hope to facilitate additional business relationships between our attendees and exhibitors.”  Just a few examples of products to be on display this July include:

Interfil’s Air Filter: This new line is designed to retain contaminating particles that enter the vehicle through the ventilation system.  The air filter protects the health of the passenger by preventing the inhalation of gases and toxic substances and providing fresh air in the vehicle’s interior.

Schumacher Electric Corporation’s (Grupo Schumex) Instapower+Air: This unique product offers a multi-purpose source of power and air in one.  Compact, lightweight and easily transportable, this 9 ampere hour battery is great for on-the-go action!

Complimenting the new products on the exhibit floor, PAACE Automechanika Mexico offers a comprehensive Seminar Program for attendees to receive education and training to enhance their business.  The newest addition to the Seminar Program this year is the involvement of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), the key association for the automotive service and repair professionals in the United States.  ASA will host up to nine complimentary seminars in their area of expertise; collision repair, business management and mechanical topics.  Automotive service and repair professionals in attendance at PAACE Automechanika Mexico 2010 will benefit from an enhanced educational program and expanded product categories in the collision repair sector with the support from the association.  Some specific ASA seminar topics will include:

  • Collision Repair Basics: Intro to Metal Repair and Surface Preparation, presented by Jose Vargas
  • Success in the Auto Repair Business, presented by Rudi Rudloff
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting, presented by Sergio Fernandez

Based on feedback from the industry and exhibitor commitments, PAACE Automechanika Mexico expects a record show this July.  International participation continues to grow with more than 430 exhibitors already committed from 14 countries around the world including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and the USA.

PAACE Automechanika Mexico is organized by Messe Frankfurt, Inc. in partnership with key industry associations APRA, MEMA and SEMA.  The event is also sponsored by ANDELLAC, ARIDRA, ASA the US Commercial Service and West Coast Customs among other groups.  The next edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico, July 14 – 16, 2010, promises continued innovation, products and opportunities for exhibitors and attendees in the automotive aftermarket sector.
